If you look very carefully ... the Ts and Es are not all the same.
Either it is hand painted or a not very good vectoring job of an another truck that was hand done.
46 years in this biz ... and I cannot recall ever seeing an E and F that look like that!

Your problem is that latex does not bond to oil based paint very well ... but will bond to a good primer!
So .............. scuff, use an oil based primer ... then paint with latex!
Hahahahaaa ... did that with a new steak house restaurant.
When I called them and explained what was happening, they didn't care.
So o o o ... on Saturday ..."Yes Sir, party of 6 at 7 pm." About 20 parties at 7pm!
Monday, no more calls for reservations!
Gold on fire trucks do get a clear coat ... otherwise the constant washing and polishing will wear away the gold in a short time.
Other than that, no top coat is recommended.
Maybe if they used a graphic of a deer being hit by a car ... the deer would find someplace else to cross the road?
