Thanks for confirming my suspicions! It seems to happen when the capping station is dirty, but it seems to get that way quickly! I will replace the screws with flush mount screws asap.

MacTac HTC is what I have used for carpet graphics for tradeshows in the past, but they've never been left down for that long. I believe MacTac has an appropriate laminate for the material also. I would almost be inclined to make a paint mask/stencil in the tread patterns and spray the carpet...

Any ideas? The bottoms of the letters look familiar, but I can't place it after this long of a day...

I am a big fan of the GFP laminators. The heat assist takes care of any silvering.

We always use the regular Gerber ones here. Never wanted to mess around with potential problems; if it aint broke - don't fix it! And if you aint making money with your current tools(foils) - you're doing it wrong!

I may be completely wrong in your case, but around here the customer wouldn't care about the "flow" of the design; they would want it as gawdy as possible and wouldn't even care (or know) if things were misspelled...:covereyes:

Do you do print cuts with it or only prints "left in sheets"? We seem to do more print-cuts than solid-panel murals.

We use 3M 180 series solid color vinyls and 1080 series solid color vinyls for color change wraps on trailers all the time here. We also remove all of the screws as we go. I would say just wrap up to the "gutter" line and stop there, that should look good - or else you're gonna have to wrap a...

That is ours in the thread linked above. The box fan is on low speed as the solvents don't out-gas at a high rate of speed and it keeps the multiple rolls inside from fluttering around and touching each other.

I always do vertical panels on box trucks per the installers' request unless specified otherwise by the customer.

For backlits you have to lay down a bunch of ink to achieve the correct colors once it is lit. If you would like to shorten your drying time (I think it cuts ours in half) try building a drying chamber like in this thread...
