  2. Flexi mirror function

All three suggestions work fine- thanks to all. Gene
  3. Flexi mirror function

Mirrors horizontally fine. How do you do a vertical mirror and avoid getting it slightly 'tipped'? Cannot think of a term to explain this- I want to be sure of a 'molecule perfect' vertical mirror to say it differently. Thanks Gene
  4. Large Plastic Rivets?

For the record Matt- they should not have been covered- I forgot to tell my installer to cut around them.
  5. What software

We do all of our designing in FlexiPro 7.6 and use the Roland VersaWorks rip to print- it has actually grown into a pretty good rip program and for the price (comes with the printer) should be considered. Not sure what level of flexi you have now but it may still do the job for you.
  6. Laminating Long Runs... Problems...

I at first thought this was a question about how to feed the vinyl straight into the laminator- but it now sounds like a laminator problem. This is my solution to feeding the vinyl- the table is 11 x 5 ft and covered with a cutting mat. I printed a series of alternating red and black stripes...
  7. Should I have a server?!!!

Good topic- I am starting to think about one too- aren't servers faster? Something about 2 LAN connections? Would it make any difference on 10/100? Thanks Gene
  8. Font Manager Program? What do you guys use?

As long as someone resurrected this old post- do you still prefer Typograf Fred? Thanks Gene
  9. Mixing different brands of third party inks

    What could go wrong?:scream:
  10. Laminator Skew Royal Sovereign

I had this problem on my 42" RS- finally took off the plastic cover on the side that is accessible on mine (keypad side unfortunately) and played with the screw that jacks tension on the roller on that side-soon had it tracking perfectly. No problems with my 55" RS.
  11. Panel Saw

Mine has the vacuum port right there- you can pop off the hose and have a 'tubal' view of where the blade will hit.
  12. Protecting print on banner

You can also laminate banner material- looks nice. Also as Bob said of course.
  13. Panel Saw

SSC all the way- built like a tank- zero problems in 8 years- would not want to think about everything I have cut with it.
  14. Media flanges

    Never use them.
  15. Mousepad from shop materials?

I build my own desk/workstations and each keyboard pullout is wrapped with a different print- most are a variation on currency- helps everyone keep their eyes on the prize. 3651x210 lam- some have been on for years with no wear and have never had a mouse not track properly.
  16. so here goes nothin ..

My policy for the 35 years I have been in business has been to never turn your back on a Christian- it has never failed me.
  17. Slotted Holes

Sorry about the link- don't get old... it's not pretty. Gene http://www.vansantent.com/Hand_punch.htm There is a new corner rounder / punch here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250589584995&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT It was in the latest Sign Craft
  18. Slotted Holes

Doug & Mosh- you really need both of the Roper-Whitney punches on this page- they are quality tools- I have 2 of the jr's and one of the XXs with the holddown brackets. Also have a couple cheap (Harbor Freight) punches for light duty use. It is handy to be able to leave the good ones set for the...
  19. Oracal 3628

    I would think not.
  20. Oracal 3628

Last summer I printed/laminated/contour cut some hockey wall stickers for my granddaughter and her friends and stuck one on my daughter's Suburban rear side window and it is still on there- I peeled it off once and reapplied. Works fine- your mileage may vary- this was about 6x6 inches.
