I am setting up a new main design computer (my daughters, she is officially
the head design person) and while loading all the programs and crap that we
need to do business I ran across the invoice for a computer purchased on
12.27.2000- by the time it was set up the hardware cost was $2600...
I second the NAS(network storage)- they are cheap and good- google
Buffalo NAS. I would guess it would be easier to setup than a catalog-
and certainly easier for access. If you have a LAN you can access from
any computer on the network. Gene

HjeffN was kind enough to point me to Home Depot carpet dept- exact tool
(different brand name though) with a carpet cutter type blade that works
even better than the original. Thanks Gene
that I bought years ago and cannot find now. I would like to have
another of them. Anyone recognize it? The brand name is 'Lowe' and
the anvil that the blade cuts against was the length of the blade before it was

Thanks guys- I do know how to work the character map. Most fonts use
the Alt-0000 format- but not all. Jester- how did you come up with the
Alt-0254? That is what I was looking for. Thanks Gene
My sweetie just took a part time job using MSword and I am trying to help
her- she needs a box with a check in it for a document. So I found it in
wingdings- the character code is 0xFD- but my progs will only accept
numerals from the 10 key portion of the keyboard. Something I don't...
