We had issues on several printers with air in the OP IT. You can weigh the failing printheads to find out. If it's less than 65g, you have air inside. We take out the IT block, turn it over and suck out the air with a syringe. (Late 700 models don't have IT's for colors except white anymore)...

Flexcut is supported for a very long time.(30 years i guess) If you find it in the menu settings, it's there. BUT CMYK red isn't recognized in Winplot, try it in RGB and it works.

I hat too many problems with EcoMax3 (Yellow)... The best ink for printhead life is Max2.

It's 75'000 miles or 5 years... not 15 years with overaged ink. The black EcoMax ink from Roland consistently kills the heads. (Seen on DX4 mostly, but also on DX7) No 1000 hour soak or snake oil cleaner will help. In the end it's a head replacement...

Is there ink in the damper? If yes, i'd reseat the flat cables of head 1 on the carriage board.

This can be done with cutters and software from Summa, Mimaki, Graphtec or Roland. The main difference is the tracking of the cutter to return to the origin, where Summa would be my favourite. Other than that, you need a decent design software like Illustrator, Corel, Affinity or even free Inkscape.

I can second what balstestrad said. The camera version of the S3 is cool and extremely fast in marks recognition. But I only see an advantage if you do a lot of sheet cutting. (Like screen printed sheets or prints out of a digital printer like a HP Indigo). The S One or HP Plus are nice cutters...

There is a linear bearing, a solenoid and a spring. From what you say, you could try a light lubricant on the bearing. I don't think the spring is the problem. Or Or it could be the blade falling out of the tool holder... I have seen that on summa roll cutters that use the same holders...

Could also be a belt tension issue.

I'd look at the motor/gear that moves the cartridge. They tend to fail.

VW is 64 bit only since around 6.18. So it's highly unlikely that their new V7 reverted back to 32 bit...

Could also be a crack in the plastic pinch roller holder, if it just started to do this recently.

Because these printmodes don't exist. It's not possible to drive the ink channels individually, as it was possible with older Rolands with DX4 heads. Of course you also needed a full blown RIP with profiling capability and spectro... But it was done for gamut enlargement with special colors or...

What's the problem? SP-300V don't read the chip of the cartridge, so it could only be the ink empty or cartridge not plugged switches. If the black just prints fuzzy, you need to replace the head.

Reinstall "Cutter tools", or just save the cutfile in the graphic app and open in winplot.
