No idea on newer ones. I have a ton of older Bad Wrap templates and they all also included a PDF of actual measurements of a vehicle too. They are also all Photoshop templates (not vector) but you could just bring them into Illustrator too.
I think that is a Rasterlink specific thing related to color matching. Mimaki mentions the "Wide Mimaki CMYK" here where they are talking about the newer High Contrast Series color profiles. https://mimaki.com/news/information/entry-102146.html
Not really sure to be honest since we do not use...
I've also seen this where Production Manager (much like what JetPress encountered) seems to forget what port the printer is on or had some sort of glitch in the communication. Re-selecting its correct port fixes the issue but if a print job was going it is not going to restart - it will have to...
I did not mention the CMYK color space because that will already be there and most likely set to the Flexi default of US Web Coated SWOP. I'm only pointing out that the default profiles (particularly US Web Coated SWOP CMYK) is a terrible input profile with a very limited gamut. Color experts as...
No idea on if using Rasterlink 6 (we have it too but I've never installed it) but if using Flexi get a good profile configured for the media. Then in your design make sure you are using RGB mode (or Pantone solid coated colors if needed) and in RGB mode assign and use the Adobe RGB 1998 color...
It is not cheap but another good option is high end (network) edge defense. I keep our entire network behind a Checkpoint firewall. It does a ton more than your typical residential or SMB devices and the annual subscription costs about $400 a year on top of the hardware costs. If you are...
Wow..... old thread that was dead for over 10 years!!!
Well..... for us for the most part we do charge for waste but we figure it into the cost that we quote a customer. If a customer asks we explain it to them though. You are not paying just for the amount of material you get, you are paying...
Located in West Columbia, SC 29169. Can help load in a truck (not going to try and build a crate though). Have a lot of various spare parts to go with it as well including a Triangle bulk ink system (the good 2 liter ink bag type), EasyResetV, etc. It has been sitting unplugged for a couple of...
It sounds like either the cartridges have the empty flag stuck on the bag wrong and it is sticking out or the microswitch in those slots is jacked up in some way.
There is a flat panel stuck to the bag in the cartridges that has a tab that sticks out when the bag inside is empty which presses a...
We bought this a couple of years ago for a big project (we bought two at once) and ended up not needing it. It has been in our climate controlled shop since. It is still brand new in the crate, never even opened and also includes the Mimaki MBIS3 bulk ink system. These also come with Rasterlink...
Yeah that should not run all the time. It only runs when needed on our JV150 but yes, it is a bit different than the old style on the JV33 and JV3 machines. I wonder if there is a firmware issue or something?
That is pretty disingenuous. User has an problem and was trying to fix it. Rather than help, you simply try to push him to a totally different RIP which is unnecessary and somewhat crude. It about the same as someone saying that they are trying to figure out how to do something in Corel and...
If printing with a typical wide format printer that we have the only thing I can think of would be to do all of your main printing and then make a vinyl mask that is open only where you want the clear UV, apply that to the print and then paint the clear reactive UV ink on, let it dry and remove...
Possibly environmental change between printing the different panels? Environmental humidity and temperature play a pretty big role on how things print on all machines. Just saying - with the rain we get this time of the year the average humidity can go from 50% to 100% in literally 20 minutes...
I'd make sure of a couple of things. One is that they are a well known brand that others have attested to their quality. Two, they are not expired or anything.
We use Bordeaux in our JV150 machines (identical printer but single head).
