Yeah that should not run all the time. It only runs when needed on our JV150 but yes, it is a bit different than the old style on the JV33 and JV3 machines. I wonder if there is a firmware issue or something?

I'd make sure of a couple of things. One is that they are a well known brand that others have attested to their quality. Two, they are not expired or anything. We use Bordeaux in our JV150 machines (identical printer but single head).
