I'm sure it's like this everywhere but we're constantly getting under cut on our Vehicle graphics, It's getting to the point where it's almost not even worth doing them anymore. A company in town is willing to do a FULL warp on a 2010 Chev crew cab for $2850...
Oh and that's WITH design...
I just found out today we're 1 step closer to closing our doors. Times have been rough, phones aren't ringing. We're to small to play with the big boys and to big to compete with the smaller shops, we've gone from 10 employees in the last few year down to 4 back up to to 6. Anyway found out...
I just finished the 3M Advanced Installation training. I wasn't going to do the test but decided to go for and ended up finishing with a 92% average!

I have 2 new lamps in my machine b ut yet I'm still getting un-even drying. the finish on the prints is almost gloss compared to what it looks like regularly. The print will start off fine and then it looks like it get gradually worse and goes back to normal. Almost like the lamp is getting to...
I just want to give everyone a heads up.. beofre you go and spend the big $$ on replacing parts on your flatbeds do some searching online.
I just saved about $3800 by searching out part numbers and ordering from different suppliers online. Most of these machines are built using existing parts...
I just got done what I thought was going to be a pretty straight forward wrap.
A guy came in and wanted his 2012 Volvo Tractor trailer (just the truck) wrapped in white. He just bought the truck and ended up getting a contract with a company and as part of the contract he needed a white...
I've always notcied this but I never really payed much attention. Monday we printed a full wrap for a 2011 Nissan xterra. it used about 1/2 of a roll.
Now I started with a new roll of media and a new roll of laminate. Now today I go to print a partial wrap, I print roughly 1/4 of media and go...
I have a couple signs that need to be cut/engraved in 3/16" Alum. I'm using a 1/8" carbide bit with 2 flutes. I'm only going down about .06" but I'm having a hard time getting a nice finish. It could have something to do with the $13 bit but I thought I'd as about what speeds and feeds everyoen...
I'm having an issue with the alignment on my cutter using the Cut-server. I think the issues on the larger files is that there isn't enough marks. Does anyone know how I can add more marks? I've read through the manual and I can't find anything.
I'm using Production House 7, printing on a...
Yesterday the Yellow and Cyan stopped printing. It's both sided of the head and it was printing fine an hour before hand. My 1st thought was either it's the pump or electrical. I check the pump, I sucked some ink through the from bottom so there was ink in the print head tried to do a test draw...
Anyone ever use this stuff.. It's freak awsome.. very exspensive but awsome..

we've been cutting a few large models out of MDF for a museum job. I'm having abit of an issue with the boards warping. Anyone else have any luck?
I think we might have to upgrade to foam board.
Long story short, employee was printing and the Cyan head ran out of ink, I told him to replace the cartridge and get the print running. Well he replaced the cartridge and left the printer dry for the weekend.
SO.. I'ver taken the head out and flushed solvent through it, seems fine nothing...

What are the advantages of using the tapered Ballnose vs the standard straight Flute?
Well for whatever reason Wasatch is not saving/sending the .rtl file I need to use to print to my AGFA. I was using the RIP all day yesterday, I ripped and print 1 set of files then went to another set and nothing.
Wastach is opening and ripping the files fine they all show up in my Print...
