Another good tip is to put masking tape over the rolling grid 'cause there's a space where the tinny parts can find their way. Been there few years ago with my 24" Mimaki plotter (easier to turn upside down and shake...)
I've used a straight one from another removable pinch roller for months w/o issue. I got this new one from my tech at his last visit but he was short on time so I told him I'm gonna handle it... +6 months passed and I no longer remember what he told me so that's why I asked.
There's 2 li'l...
Hi folks, I have a pinch roller to replace... the one next to the blade holder. I notice there's a slight angle to this pinch roller so I want to put it on the right way. As I've replaced the defective one with one of the extra we put in the middle of printer (while waiting the part to comes...
FOR ALL THE ONES WHO SAID THEY WOULD NEVER DO IT W/O FIRST REMOVING THE OLD SUN-BAKED ONE, LET ME INFORM YOU THAT +6 YEARS LATER, THERE'S "0" SIGN OF LIFTING ANYWHERE ON MY JOB. I'D DO IT AGAIN ANYDAY (after careful inspection of original vinyl layer, 'not saying all old wrap jobs must/can be...
'Had similar issue when I got their new IJ180-10SLS last years. I did a tanker (stainless) for my customer and 'had few spots with edges lifting. I wasn't sure if it was because of the material or pressure washing but it happened mostly on top of graphics, where the pressure from water (*if...
If they really wanna save on the swatch books, why don't they just send us the samples for their new colors instead of the whole deal everytime... I don't really need 4 3M colorbooks just send me the 5 new colors so I can add 'em in mine. That sounds too simple probably. I made that suggestion...
Not so "off topic" but here's a comparison. We cut wood in Canada (i.e. BC), the logs travel to US tax free, you process 'em, ship 'em back to our country and we have to pay import taxes and other fees over the cost of processing... Yes, we are that much idiot... Like if we can do it by...
Cadlink Signlab sent me an offer last week, SignLab 10 Print & Cut for 750$ US (complete, legal, directly from the maker)... So if you have paid 1700$ for 2, where's the deal ??? I'm not a SignLab user so it's not an upgrade... It's really a full version from Cadlink directly.
One thing I have noticed on Latex prints is the laminate to tack less than on eco-solvent prints. I use a Roland VS540 since 2011 and wrapped a lot of challenging things that required major repositioning/binding/stretching.... never experienced my laminate films to delaminate. I do install...
Can it be this company? That's the one I was refering too w/o naming it. They do very decent jobs, in time, at "resellable" price for shops like mine.

Good for you but in my market, with same quality film (i.e. IJ180) you get 2 trailers for 15k (maybe 1 side of a third...)
Large fleets like grocery chains, beer companies, etc... probably get 3 for 15k o_O
There's like 3-4 major players in our market and I know some use HP TurboJet + UV laminate which means they can print / laminate the whole unit (53ft ---> around 920sq.ft) in less than an hour... Not a market for me with my VS540 (Roland)... When I have request for trailers, I hire 'em and...
Around here in eastern part of Canada, you probably can get full wrap fleet trailers for 4500$ (flat) to 6500$ (rivets) and I guess 7000-7500$ corrugated
In Avery or 3M cast with fleet liquid laminate... I know it's very low...
I'm just toasted and cannot remember the name of that font, anyone can help? I need to create another logo based on MESA font, not duplicate this one
Thanks folks!
