You can get them done through DFS on 16pt C2S stock for under $1.00 each. Does not pay to do them yourself. Add money for grommets or stick on corner hangers.

Good Morning Folks, I was asked to quote a custom cut floor graphic approx. 24"x 24" printed on clear vinyl and laminated. They want quantities quoted up to 1000. It would take us FOREVER to do this. Any suggestions who could do this for us? Thanks

We have the Vanguard 4x8 flatbed for two years now and have been very happy with it. Good print quality, the ability to add more heads if business really takes off and the LED lamps sold us over the Oce. As with all these printers, daily maintenance is the key to success.

We found that the lines from the pumps were clogged on our flatbed. Also found buildup and clogs in the sub tanks above the heads. It's messy, but you can use flush, disconnect both ends and flush it out.

We use o-flute aluminum bits from Onsrud or Amana and they work great. We climb cut and run at 18K at about 100 in/min. If you are experiencing the chips getting "welded" to the bit you are probably going too slow and building up too much heat.

2ct Media, Did you have the machine delivered "door to door" or did you pick it up at a loading dock? Also, which vendor did you use and how is the quality? I've heard some horror stories about broken pieces/glass, tables not level and etc. Thanks Art

If you are talking about channel letter signs, we just print the outline on cheap paper, tape it up and follow the lines.

A little more info would help. What size panel? What qty? What is your timeframe?

I order for that machine to recognize the crop marks, you must use Raster Link and create a hybrid job. Make sure you put crop marks every 8-10 inches along the length. The only other rip that might work and be accurate is ONYX. Flexi will let you do it but for some reason they have not figured...

We have the 160 for over a year now. Flexi has a problem with registration marks and cutting on the Mimaki. We struggled for months until the Mimaki tech came in and basically reinstalled the machine and tested all the cutting functions. If you ditch Flexi for print/cut and use Rasterlink it...

I had the same issue with a Canon 60" printer. We found the main board which had the EPROMM on it and removed the board AND the battery for two days. Basically we mad it STUPID again. Put it all back together and started from scratch. Everything worked great for another 5 years.
