Glad you brought this up. I’ve been using a decade+ old set of Prismacolor fine and chisel tip markers. I’ve never much needed the fine tip... and honestly, most are all dry now. I’m in the market too for a useful set. Of course I fix small imperfections on prints but they’re used a lot for edge...

Keep it in a drawer, or a rigid portfolio. Use the sticker board (or coroplast). Some things in life just need to stay clean.
Some research shows that printheads begin to fail and don’t fire at full capacity. Grays are affected most by the light ink printheads. Might be time to change them. Or, ink from a different source can change color.
Will they actually take a tape measure to it? I cannot believe the client is that concerned over 2”.
Quote them the cost of the 100ct minimum order and watch them change their minds about the importance the 1” on each side.
