Someone's been studying After Effects  Really nice looking video and work. Well done all the way around.
  2. U.S. patent office cancels Redskins trademark registration

That might be true if it were a racial slur. However, it's not. There are far more native Americans that have supported the Redskins keeping their name than there are that have opposed it. If it's not offensive and it's actually supported by the vast MAJORITY of native American's, then you'd...
  3. Name and shame!

Our lawyer said we could easily go to court, but winning in court didn't get you any money, it only got you the judgement. You can't pay your bills with a judgement. It could then end up being something someone pays you $100 a month for until it's paid, which is more of a pain then it was all...
  4. Name and shame!

Customer was avoiding my calls and emails, so I showed up at his place of business and asked to see him. I knew he wasn't there as his truck wasn't in the parking lot. I asked for him, was told he wasn't there, and I said "Can you tell him I stopped by to pick up the check he owes me for work we...

  7. 3M Dinoc install on painted surface problem

You can tell when you pull the giant swatch of paint off the wall. Take your hand and run it over the sheetrock. My guess is you'll have sheetrock dust on your hand. It's one of those things you have to be aware of and when it happens you can stop in your tracks and show the right people...
  8. 3M Dinoc install on painted surface problem

Any decent primer will work, but the important thing is you're not going to be able to install it for 10 days or so, maybe longer, after it's painted. If you do, you risk having happen what's happening now. That paint needs to be totally cured before you can do that. How long are you planning...
  9. 3M Dinoc install on painted surface problem

Have someone properly paint it. My guess is they are sanding the sheetrock mud, then painted directly over that. Sanding the sheetrock produces dust, and most painters seem to just paint over that dust. If they properly do their job, and wipe the dust before PRIMING, and then painting, then the...
  10. Shop Van Wrap Critiques

You question should be "Who is the customer" and once you know that, then you tailor it to the customer. If your customers are tech savvy people that's one thing, if they are 75 year old people that need their HVAC serviced, Facebook, google, websites, and emails probably aren't the most helpful...
  11. Shop Van Wrap Critiques

Huh? A wrapped vehicle with no way for anyone to contact you? I don't agree with that at all. You might not personally use the phone number from wraps, but I have a number of times. Just because you don't, doesn't mean other people don't. I use them, I take pictures of them walking through a...
  12. How to fit a vinyl cover on a credit card

They need the boost for all that walking around, putting job applications in, interviews, etc. That's hard work and a little Dew helps you through it all :)
  13. How much do you pay your shop help?

We pay 16 year kids with no experience $10 per hour. I'd gladly pay someone with experience $15 per hour. We had a guy come in with experience here a while back and he was in the $18-19 per hour range.
  14. copyright question

Nothing fancy, I just googled "who owns the copyright for Bullwinkle" and scrolled down a couple of listings to this : http://collider.com/dreamworks-animation-classic-media-voltron-casper/
  15. copyright question

It's not owned by General Mills, they sponsored it, Dreamworks owns the copyright to it and it appears they are planning on making them into movies, like they did with Mr. Peabody recently. Dreamworks bought it in 2012, so I'm guessing the copyright is alive and kicking.

That's some pretty expensive film to wrap a car with body damage.
