How would a person get behind the structure to tension the top of each face? And the bottom of the top one for that matter. The space between the two is only 12" and there will be a catwalk attached there as well. I must be missing something....
Or just had this idea.....what if there were...
I have a customer who is wanting to contract us to take care of production and installation of the vinyl flex on a new billboard set they are to be erecting soon, problem is.....they way it is built I'm not sure how to go about mounting the flex.
Previously we have used gripper bars and ratchet...
I'd love to move both of these out ASAP, all offers considered. I will even consider parting them out. I also have one color and one black dx2 head brand new.
I pulled the trigger on a new printer and need to make some room!
Mutoh Falcon Outdoor 62
Running Bordeaux eco solvent ink, this printer is ran daily and produces sellable prints without issue. I just replaced one of the print heads and the other has just a couple of missing nozzles. The...
After talking with a few people today I think I am leaning toward the Mimaki (which I can get a smokin deal on right now)....Then if I want to get into a latex later on I'm sure the technology will improve as it always does and I will still have a good amount of value in the Mimaki. Also this...
And I still haven't made a decision.....more confused now than before
Seriously considering the HP L26500 right now
A few concerns I have for it though....
Will I be able to print on economy grade vinyl?
If used only 1-4 hrs per day how long will it last? 3yrs? 5yrs? 10yrs?
Will it even be...
I've heard others say that they would expect to replace them in 2-3 years because they are not built as heavy, maybe that isn't necessarily correct?
A few concerns that I have for the HP....
Electrical(not a huge deal, but added cost)
Heat in the summer(will be in a 1200sf air conditioned...
The time has come to make a move on a new printer, my old Mutoh Falcon 62 has served its purpose but I need something that is more reliable and faster.
Just for a little background, I am primarily a one man show and my Falcon currently runs on average 4 days a week. Some days it will run...
Anyone going to the ISA show in Vegas coming up in April? I'd like to go but I hate to go all that way if it isn't worth it. I'm in the market for a new printer so it would be nice to see all of the options in one place and maybe they will have some specials going on.
Anyone have insight on...
I'm in the same situation...I'm slammed already and this is the slow time of year(been like this for 2 years). I'm eagerly awaiting the replies and any advise.
I'm thinking my options are to hire someone good or start firing the least profitable customers which I really don't want to do...
Just went through this last week with a couple of different individuals. Glad I'm not the only one!
Ended up telling them both how they can make this easier on me....if they follow my instructions they will get a good price...if not they're gonna pay.
Scripted or not, I'm a fan. Si and Jase definitely make the show what it is....mindless comedy TV. Great way to have a few laughs at the end of the day. Heck even my wife loves the show...never in a million years would I have guessed that.
Almost reminds me of high school, I bet they have a...
Nobody said anything about not doing small jobs. Most do them all the time, the difference is that everyone saying that has the capability and know how to do the bigger jobs that can potentially have good margins. If we had to rely on the <$100 jobs we'd be sunk.
Take skyhigh up on his truck...
:goodpost: My thoughts exactly!
I don't know everything or have all the answers but you definitely think way too small... If you want to get the big jobs and make some real money you need to pony up and spend some cash for the tools to do it. Or just keep making "stickers" for peanuts.
I'm...
