  1. Question about L360 Latex and Flexi

So, the resolution of it all was similar to what I used to do on rolands. Basically I ripped and printed my flames up the side of 54" MATERIAL for an 8' run the widest point was on each end. I went back into flexi and measured and laid a line across the screen with a little buffer room since...
  2. bubbles

As it could be figured, no one really knows this answer. BUT I can assure you mismatched tack of tape can contribute to pulling bubbles (more of a stretched spot) on vinyl that was not completely laid. Best to let the vinyl sit for a bit then as mentioned, spray it with soapy, rub it in, wait...

Oh Gino, all of these are paid for before! This really isn’t anything any of you are doing which is the reason for some discretion. But this is something I usually hear. Also remember we are all in the same industry so let’s not let a few bad apples make it where we become an ass to other...

  8. Need Help HP L360 and flexi question

So I am making a run of 8' but the graphic will only eat up about 25" of material down the side. It will be the bottom to a sign. I am trying to remember how to go about reprinting the other section with some misc decals etc so as not to end up with a 3' x 8' scrap. I think I used to go into...
  9. Suggestions Wrapping Bumpers

Depends on color matching. I think I used a avery on my last tundra, but have used 3m 1080 as well. Clean it wellllll and remove as many obstacles as you can before you start to make a seamless end product.

  13. VP540i Users: Do You Always Use Media Guides?

Mostly the short at least I think they were the short ones. About 1.5-2” long. Think the long ones were 3-4” if memory serves me right.
  14. How does a signmaker take a vacation?

Haha 25000 bumper decals with short turn around is a whale of a client. I’m reading through this and thinking we are a small shop but somehow some way we have been stuck solely on the wrap side. We do some other stuff but the bulk of our work are wraps and I’m thinking I need to diversify a bunch.
  15. VP540i Users: Do You Always Use Media Guides?

It was very seldom that we did not use them. I did have a few times that we had issues without as we encountered a head strike from media not laying completely flat. Either cold media, curled edge etc. that is why I just said we always use them. No, I have moved to a hp latex.

  19. VP540i Users: Do You Always Use Media Guides?

I ran an older model. I always always ran them, just as security. There were very few times I did not when trying to get close to the edge but I made dang sure I could "pull" material to keep it flat on the platen. I have even had this come up with my HP latex. I rigged "Pull sticks" that I...

Thanks everyone. Just gave that one back to him and applied decal (ij35c) to front of a new cooler instead of lid. He was very understanding saying it happens, but I did offer to buy it.. Guessing after talking to twn and lliquid print that those are still part of his sample runs that they...
