I guess the flag is not entering correctly into to the optical sensor. This can happen is mechanically there is a misalignment.
Also you can check internal logs to check why the init of lamp housing fails.
Or you just order it from somewhere else...
The 700 prints a visible better quality compared to 300 series. Less grain, less satellites and better length accuracy.
And you can decide if you are in need of overcoat.
Hp created a huge box with a lot of parts known to break frequently. Ink tube system, substrate axis, scan axis, air circulation, and so on. Even after warranty the parts and the replacement is free of charge. Check out with your service provider.
If the sensor recognizes strange values it shows up this error. Could be that you can’t use the OP ink cartridge until fully depleted or not recognized out of ink. Replacement and calibration takes around 15 minutes, so ask your technician to replace it when passing by.
You have to remove the leftmost cover. It is secured with 4 screws. 2 screws at the bottom from outside, one from the inside near the top roof in the front little bit hidden, and one at the top rear from outside. Then you can slide away the cover to access the ink station.
Some of my customers tried chinese printhead and ink. Inks so far looks ok, but printheads are really not usable. But you can buy chips and put them onto HP printheads from 3xx/5xx series. These works great after you have cleaned off all ink from chambers.
For sure u have nozzle out on cyan.
And an issue with surface tension or statics.
Wipe surface with IPA and switch ionizer on.
What kind of substrate?
Depending on color you should try to print unidirectional cause magenta on cyan has a different result then cyan on magenta.
Which firmware version is installed?
Also, recommendation is to connect unit to different phases. If the unit turns off without throwing an error code on the display and in the service information I would go for an interruption of main power, because there is no more time to save or present the...
If the machine detects high friction on the rail it will ask to lubricate the rails. Depending on the machine you have an oil reservoir on the left or right side of the carriage. There you can apply once a year. Once per 1/2 roll is far to much. In the printer cleaning kit 2 bottles are included...
The kit changes a lot and stabilizes the units. But not everything. Few open points are not solved yet, but HP invests a lot on solutions. Hope to get more information soon.
New units are already factory-updated.
Just use your logic. Just mark pinch roll position before starting the first side printing close to the side edge. Print centered. Wind it inside-out. Put output core to input, load and move until the mark reaches exact same position in the machine. Print second side also centered. Maybe you...
Have you installed correct pinch rollers?
Left and rightmost are conical to stretch substrate. If you have straight ones or mixed up left and right you might have this issue.
Just loosen belt and move carriage by hand. If it doesn’t runs smoothly replace front rod oiler and felts kit. Normally the felts are collecting a mixture of aerosol , ink and oil which causes high friction.
RMO needs to be well adjusted to the machine (slant, height, distance). And check the dancer and remove the additional arm on home side that prevents from rotating.
I heard something from CMYK Engineering. But they sell just ink and chip combination. Never had the possibility to test their stuff.
No clue if the rfid can be bypassed. Good luck.
But if someone has a high quality ink, they should have the knowledge to make it work.
There is no encoder present on 350. Just a light barrier reader for topmost/home. The rest is done by stepping motor. Most probably probably problem is the trailing data cable (firewire800), if u receive z-axis problems. Check logs for intensively increased link errors .
