Double sided printing is done on rigids, where you have a defined leading edge. These types of substrate are not in need of high vacuum, since they are not bent under normal circumstances. If you are going on cardboard, edgeholders might be always necessary. And the crash sensors will act before...
Regarding the „scratches“ on double sided: these are not scratches from the belt. It’s the vacuum sucking partially ink from A-side. Try to reduce the vacuum as much as possible.
Scratches during handling can happen easily, since the ink layer is much thinner compared with UV. Lamination is...
A hybrid never has the capability to print on porous substrate. The r2r can print the whole day and night, while fb needs the sheets to be loaded. If you are not in need of these possibilities of wider range of substrates or quantities then you can go with hybrid. It saves you space, and time...

Printquality is not on the level you can reach with Rasterlink. In your case I would go with Mimaki RIP since they control there special pritmodes in the correct manner.
Aquity advance select / Arizona 460 is cheaper an does also has the option to print cmykwv. 480 has ccmmykwv. 660 / 550 is way more expensive due to second row of printheads.
If well maintained this unit is very stable. Varnish is not possible since the process to print and cure varnish is completely different then colors/white.
12 pass, 110% ink, 180º curing, 30% vac, 30% optimizer.
180º curing is impossible.
At first I would reduce optimizer as much as possible. Then reduce curing and drying temperature to lowest value. Curing around 70*C. Slow down printing that substrate is longer in curing chamber at lower...
The vacuum error is a sign of high rate of air pump requests. So somewhere meniscus or degass vacuum is dropping frequently, meaning there is a leak somewhere.
Air pressure pumps are located near ink pumps. Tubes are going from pumps to pressure sensor on system control pca and to accumulator...
on the legs you won’t be able to adjust head-media-distance. If there is a need to adjust you have to adjust the gantry. And this is not trivial since you have to adjust slant as well. A magnetic dial gauge isn’t helpful since there isn’t any magnetic metal used on accessible parts of carriage...
It’s about the second dropsize. You should leave the 6pl on, but in fact you need to do a new color calibration with this.
To check if table is level you can mount a dial gauge to the carriage and with opened drawe you can move carriage over entire table to check for differences. Maybe magnetic...
For which reason you would like to store it? Doesn’t make sense to me. You won’t be able to demonstrate and sell it.
So I would decrease pricing until sold.
Seems that you are loosing nozzles on high ink load. This could be related to almost everything. Meniscus to low or instable, ink flow, filter in PH, …
For printing on shirts I can recommend the Ricoh R-1000. you can print even on black fabric and DTF. And maintenance is really easy. Just shake the white cartridge once a day. Latex isn’t a good choice and UV is forbidden in my opinion due to the fact that you can’t control the polymerisation in...
