It's olive green, not sure why you see gray. All the colors are a softened/muted retro look.
Is all the PVC covered in vinyl, or did you paint some of it? It's a mix of print and paint.
Very sweet. I still have my 71 I bought right out of college in 92 for $2400. Been doing a full resto on it and actually thinking about selling it just to get the garage space back.
Sintra paints great. Lightly sand with 220 to scuff the glossy surface and paint with a quality exterior latex.
Honestly, for temp sign, just seam a print. It's not worth the expense of the paint and the time to sand/paint.
Nope, expanding isn't an option. No layers either. It's like it's become a bitmap, a very crisp bitmap. I was just testing to see if placing worked, I already had the client send me a CS5 version. Just curious if that was the norm or not. I'll try placing the next CS6 version I get.
Interesting...I just tried placing a CS6 image into CS5 to see if it worked. While it did give me the image, I can't ungroup it or do anything with it. Is this the norm when placing a newer version?
No, I do understand your frustration, I personally do not like Aspire from the trial version for many reasons. But, from all the CNC software I've seen, you still have to assign all the tool paths. The CNC doesn't know what to do unless you tell it step by step.
I'm not following you. Why is it so difficult to export? You still have to assign all the tool paths to each and every line in Aspire anyways. It's not like you can design in anything paste into Aspire (or any CNC software) and it's ready to send to the CNC upon pasting.
I would push for plan B. Our golden rule is mounting to a roof is always the last option (and we've even refused to do it in some cases) and CYA, because it will very likely leak and someone needs to pay for the repairs and damages.
