We just bought a Graphtec FC-8000 and its very tempermental. We design and print with Flexi 8.6 to a VP540. Most things are laminated so the cutter must be able to read crop marks and align cutter Cutter must also be 52-54" wide.

Try RGB R=167 G=25 B=48 works great for me with a vp540

Thants the way we are doing it also. Yesterday it just started cutting without even trying to read the marks and cut way off. then I sent the same job again (same piece of print, and same job file in flexi) and it read the marks and cut perfect. Still waiting for the tech to get here.

You need to make sure there is a contour cut around the object. use effects contour cut to add it.

All we use is high gloss. Do you use intermediate marks or just 4 corners?
