Wondering what is the simplest way to make a letterhead I've designed in Illustrator editable in Word (I haven't used word for 20 years). The main problem is the graphics goes right to the edges at top and bottom. Any help appreciated.
About to purchase a few LHF fonts for the scrolls, ornaments etc but have noticed in a few I already have that the lines are rough and need to be redrawn. The ones I have were downloaded for free and I'm wondering if the fonts are any better when bought from the LHF site.
Does anybody know which font these JB letters are? This is from the Letterhead Fonts website gallery but I don't think it's one of theirs. Any help appreciated.
I need to make 500 stickers numbered from 1 to 500, is there any way to automatically do them in ascending order in Illustrator? Or must they be typed in manually? Any help appreciated.
Whenever I save as PDF in Illustrator the colours have changed when I open the PDF again. This is a huge inconvenience when clients or printers need artwork in PDF format. Does anybody have any ideas to fix this? Thanks.
Thanks for the replies. I did sell them the logo originally but not the layouts for cards and letterheads so I'm wondering whether I'm entitled to charge extra. Also wondering what everybody is charging for logo design, I know it can vary greatly but I'd love to hear a few examples to go by...
Last year I designed a logo for a clinic and produced their signs. I've also been outsourcing their business cards and letterheads (which have needed the personnel changed every time) but have had a lot of trouble dealing with the printers and have since found a new reliable printer which I...
It's not the edges curling that's the problem, it's the vinyl rippling between the pinch rollers due to the cold. When the room is warm it's fine but as soon as it gets cold that starts happening. Never a problem over summer. Roland SP540V is the printer.
Having a lot of trouble with vinyl not sitting flat between the printer rollers/clamps in cold weather. I'll often have a heater going on the roll as it goes through but it's the middle of winter at the moment here so that's not doing much and it takes forever to heat the large room the printer...
Wondering if there's a simple way to do a gradient that fades from a color to transparent, revealing the layers beneath in Illustrator? I can do it in Photoshop but need to do it in Illustrator. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks. The main thing I forgot to ask is what to do when the bottom of the doors are level but the body line through the middle isn't. For example I often have the business name above the line and phone number below. Should I still run parallel with the line?
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if there are any general rules when it comes to applying vinyl text to vehicle doors when there is a strip or rail through the middle that isn't quite horizontal. Is it best to go on the same angle as the strip or have it perfectly horizontal (ie with a spirit level)...
