Quite a few strip malls around here do not permit window decals/graphics to be installed on the outside of windows. Applying them to the inside poses some challenges if you don't have a UV printer with white (print reverse on clear and back-up with flood white). What's the best way for us that...
Yes, we’ve been running other contour cut jobs with no problem. Actually the exact same thing happened a few months ago. I copied the image to a new Illustrator file and it worked. But I’ve tried that now again to no avail. Restarted programs, equipment, copied files, saved as both .ai and...
I'm trying to cut a very simple file with lettering from Illustrator. Set to Rear 2. No matter what I do, when the file is sent the 8600 rolls out all 105", then rolls back about 1/2, then rolls back again to the end of the 105" --- and then just stops without cutting, but with 105" of media...
We're removing and replacing old signage that is attached to brick walls with these masonry anchors. The head looks similar to hammer drive anchor heads. However, these are mushroom head nylon screw-in anchors. (Maybe they're hammer in, but screw out?) Home Depot/Lowes appear to only carry...
We're getting more and more in-store (retail) graphics/design opportunities. Does anyone have recommendations for suppliers of POP fixtures? See attached for example. (It's a photo from Dollar Tree...not our client...)
Thanks much!
Kim.
I’m curious about the ROI on your laminator. Was it standalone, or as a required piece of the entire business? Other than increasing lam over cost for estimates, do you bill extra for laminating? If so, how and how much?

Hi all,
We have a 61" Royal Sovereign roll laminator, but for small jobs it chews a lot of lamination with in/outfeed. A flatbed laminator, (Rollsroller type) would be useful, but too much for our needs. What about a smaller table top type unit? Something to use with cut sheets and capable of...
We're beginning to do quite a bit of custom canvas work. We've bought stretcher bars from BLICK, which seem pretty good so far. Any recommendations on other suppliers?
Thanks in advance!

Just a quick follow-up. Sometimes it takes just a little nudge to get back in the right direction. It was an issue in master layer. Problem solved. Thanks Boudica and everyone willing to contribute.
Is there someone well versed with Illustrator that would be willing to take my call? I have a question on duplicating cut layers. Probably something simple, but can’t find the answers on web-search or quite figure it out myself.
Pm me with contact info. I’ll call tomorrow.
Thanks in advance!
There seem to be a lot on either side, either short or long-term. But what are some recommendations for mid-term (3 years) 80/20 or70/30 window perf? To be printed on eco-solvent printer.
Thanks in advance!
Kim.
Considering the purchase of a Colex M564 laminator. Does anyone have any experience or opinions on it?
