We’re installing a LED sign cabinet on a building with a stone facade. Concrete drill bit with hammer drill won’t touch it. Neither will a masonry bit. Any recommendations to get into really hard stone?
TIA.
Laminate this with a cast lam and go…

As others have said, it’s a workout to get it heated and into the mortar joints. 5 year life expectancy.
Thanks all (and stickerhed.) NGlantz has them available. Building 1"x4" pressure treated subframe to mount the panels to. The concern with 3mm is that it will not lay as flat as 6mm, i.e. look somewhat wavy and uneven. Plus, it's south facing and gets brutal sun. Thicker is better is my...
We’ve got a 5’ x 20’ building sign to install and are looking for 6mm ACM vs. 3mm. Any recommendations on where to get it? Grimco only has 3mm in 5’ x 10’. Reece charges to ship from some remote branch that may have inventory (a lot…)
TIA.
Just a point of distinction. Mimaki didn’t buy Oki. There is a world-wide agreement between Oki and Mimaki (for ColorPainter printers) whereby Mimaki has exclusive distribution (incl. sales, marketing and support) of ColorPainter. No acquisition.
For 2022 we're looking to update our website and add an element of ecommerce. I recognize that a lot of money can be spent on these things, which is okay with a good ROI, but are there any recommendations on web/ecommerce developers for small businesses?
TIA
Thanks all for your input and feedback. We continue to learn and get better at providing exceptional value to our clients.
One quick note about caulk. We used roofing sealant (vs. silicone) to seal mounting holes on a previous job. It's sticky for a while, but I'd image will provide lasting...
There are often times when an alternative/lesser known product costs less and even performs better. I'm not crazy about 3M Blue tape performance to start with. And as someone said in this thread, it does add up. So why not see if there's a better option?
What fasteners do you recommend for mounting an ACM sign (for argument sake, lets say a 4' x 8' sign panel) to corrugated metal siding? Part of the issue also are the metal screws with which the metal siding is screwed into place with. Thus the sign panel can't be flush mounted to the siding...
We have several of the folding/locking plastic types. They are not ideal, mostly because they aren’t flat across the table. The fold makes them somewhat concave. Any recommendations for really great portable work tables?
TIA.
