i had to reformat my computer because of the now infamous signs101 virus..... some of my programmes went missing though! i thought i had saved my ps programme but it appears i didn't and i have absolutly no idea where the disk is as we have moved three times since i got it and i haven't a clue...

yeah thanks guys.......i called tech support and they told me how to do the ip config which is where i was stuck last night. thanks miked for sending out the email...you never know when that will come in handy! and thanks andrew o, yeah, i think i'm all set, am going to try printing some...

i think its a summa that also has the foil option, but have never seen or dealt with one. we have an edge fx and its great for vibrant spot colors. it can do any color as well as metalics etc...maybe is worth having a look. you can probably get some samples from a dealer in your area.

so would you suggest unloading the vw programe from vista and relaoding??? how did you set up the ip connection? can you remember how you did it?

its via an ether net cable.....kinda stuck on this.......says it can't find the printer...

had to do a format of my computer and now have to do a fresh install of vw 3.0 i've loaded the disk, and got as far as needing to put in the ip etc....but it keeps saying device not found or can not connect to device. tech support are closed so..i'm stuck right now!

cet flatbeds are good and they are in the $85k range. don't have a flatbed myself but that and the fb500 would be the ones i would consider myself.

thanks guys....the new computer is a compact one, never seen one so small...the "standard" serial port that slips into a pci slot will be to big where the metal plate attaches to the back. it also have a newer type of pci slot...seems to be slightly longer than others and has 1 long slot and...
