If you want to do it that way just put a bit of painters tape over the crop marks and then laminate or place your vinyl over and then feel or see where the bump is from the tape and cut out around the tape edge and remove. The painters tape should lift off easily just don't cut too deep.

This was an Arial C in photoshop with bevel at 300 dpi then open in Illy CS6 and trace. Now its a vector. If you can find the right C it could be done. The rest might be harder than the C.

Do you mean printing the marks that ouline or show the corners of your file? If so look at> setup>default job prop> goto lables and marks tab (might be 6th over) then see what you have listed for Print Marks. Set to none. Or do you mean your contour cut line is being printed with a color?

If you recovered that much with one soak I would do it again some time soon and see if it gets any better. Not so much missing in the black but more deflection there. You might notice that more on some fine text where you don't get crisp lines but bigger stuff you may be ok.
