    You have a service manual? In mine you set the height of the cap tops with the arrow keys. But this is on a sp-540i. Its called the "flushing position adjustment". It also mentions the left end cap does not necessarily touch first.

    Would it not follow up with a normal head cleaning, which would defeat putting the cleaning fluid in the cap tops?

    Trust me if I could get it in the explorer I would. But I am going to build a box outta 2x4's and osb big enough for it to be packed with about 4 inches of foam all the way around, and screw the lid down. What I need is the dimensions of the printer itself. 91" x ??" x ??"
