Is there any fake gold vinyl that is also gold on the backside that can be used for face stick window lettering? Everything I've seen has a silver back.

Could have something to do with clamping a weight to the bottom for "even tension" We just let the panels hang freely after the top portion is laid.

Here is the design for the sign. I think we will end up painting in the gold. The sign will be 60"x48" 1/2" lusterboard. Would I be best off rolling on the gold paint to the white substrate, then apply black and green vinyl on top?

We have a roll of postermax, 8.5 mil latex saturated poster. The roll has about 1/3 left and all of a sudden it doesn't want to come off the roll. We got this roll in the spring time and haven't printed on it in about a month or so. There is nothing that I can see that would be causing this...

Doubt it has anything to do with using dawn, unless you didn't thoroughly clean with alcohol afterwards, which would be pretty obvious as the vinyl wouldn't have any initail tack.. We regularly prep surfaces this way: clean with 3m citrus cleaner (if necessary), then clean with light soapy...
