While the 3M is nice, you should take a look at the Hexis material My customers love it. The carbon fiber has a longer rating and has an air release liner.
Take a look at the Hexis brand. They also have a carbon fiber, pearl, matte white, and what they call beetle. They have a minmum of 5 years and most are 10. They have the Hexis air release liner. They are awesome.
I think you might of missunderstood him. The head strike could cause the problem and it would be fixed quickly with a proerly functioning maint. station. If your machine is 3 years old I would bet thefarm that it needs a new cap (minimum) , or a complete maint. staion. Including wiper. I do not...
there is no aligning of individual nozzles. If there are some that are out of line, then the nozzle is glogged. Clean your cap and wiper and run a cleaning.
I have adjusted these before. It can be a bear without a way of measuring the pull. The proper way is to use a push pull scale. The question is, who has one. I have worked with tech support at RS and come up with an inexpensive version, using a fishing scale. Send me an e-mail and I will...
I use the take up on my laminator. I put it on high speed and use a new razor. I drag the tip in slowly and let the tip do the cutting. When the cut gets deep, I take off the vinyl and start again. I get nice clean edges.

I do a regular cleaning of my drain lines. My demo printer does not print much, so the ink dries in the lines.
The best way to inspect would be to pull the fromt door, bottom plastic from the door hinge, and the metal cover over the maint. station and inspect the lines.
I would start by using...
This will set you back one but you will be surprised when I'm correct. STATIC. I'm in south Fl. and with our great humidity we do not see much of this. Over the last week we have had very little humidity and tons of static. My VJ-1614 was printing some pretty wild stuff one day and the nex was...
I would bet there is something touching the head. You either have debris on the bottom of the head or the inside of the cap is touching. You might have cross contimination now in your ink lines.
I do not need to see it. I knew it had to do with the charge files. They will work fine but shorten the life of the drums. I sell and repair the Xante. I have heard the same problems described 10 dif. ways. That is why I asked for the pics and config page. It sounds like you are not using the...
