I would try working my way back from the main board. Leave the wire from the main board disconnected and power up. You might get an error. Power down and check fuse. Move up the line until you blow the fuse. Could be a long process.
I do at least 1 machine a week. This is often the most neglected area. I use a lint free cloth (poly wipe) with alcohol. I use my little finger and tear up the nuckel skin. I then use my little finger to lube it with Mutoh grease. I have tried the swab and it just doesnt get everything clean.
If it is the original machine, it might be your lucky day. Mutoh usually has the original paramaters printed, rolled up, and taped inside the machine somewhere.
The Oki that prints white is CMYW. It uses CMY build for black. The white can be moved from the first to the last channel, for under or over print. It uses the OKI print driver, not Fiery "yet". Interesting technology. We have an OKI label printer on our demo floor and the first question is...
Does anyone know how to install the Sign Warehouse Q64 in Onyx 10? I beleive it is the same machine as a Graphtec 8000. Does anyone know how to change the cutters info to a 8000 so I can use that driver?
I have never used the 6000. I know it is similar to the Mutoh. While it is printing , hit the menu button. It shows the current temps. It allows you to adjust the temps. The last thing is the pf adjust. After adjustment you can scroll down to back up. This will keep the adjustments for next time.
The first several feet are always a problem. Once the diameter builds up a little, it will work fine. If the bar itself is slipping on the machine, you can take the top left cover off and adjust tension. I do not think this is the problem and if you adjust too much, it will cause a problem.
I come from the Mutoh family but I believe the feed and take up are the same. On the end caps for the feed system, you will see a metal piece on the outside. This piece has 2 screws. Loosen it and engage the metal to the core sprocket. This will create resistance. This helps keep the media...
I have used the General Formulations vinyl for hard floors and vinyl for carpet. They both work and they have 2 lams for it. I would highly sugest a matched set for floor graphics. Make sure it is UL certified to cover your but.
I have not used the Epson but I am pretty good with the Valuejet. I know the body is the same. I am not sure about the firmware. On the Mutoh, while it is printing, hit the menu button. This will allow you to adjust temp, feed adjust, and save the settings.
I know it is very important to make...
It could also be debris on the bottom of the head, wicking the ink to the sponge. Inspect the bottom with a flashlight. A banner hair will touch the nozzle and allow the ink to run out.
