Hello Gino! Thanks so much for your input. I've called around to my screenprinter contacts and no one wants to touch a customer supplied product to print to or want a really high rate, otherwise I would have gone that route. Super interested in a dishwasher safe inkjet transfer- would you mind...
I initially wanted to laser etch them for her as I have that capability at my shop, however she wants the image to be black and not frosted. I've attached the logo to show you what I am trying to emulate. Thanks for your suggestion though!
PVC is going to warp over time- there's no way around it, especially on a south or west facing sign. I would use a little bit of liquid nails/ silicone, perimeter screws and washers, and let the customer know it's a temp solution. Good luck with your project!
Hello everyone- hope your Monday is treating you well.
I have a personal friend who is opening up a bar- and has 1 liter glass carafes that they want to put their logo on- solid black. Overall size will be about 4" x 3" with a pretty tight weed on some small lettering. Screen-printing is out...
Hello! We use one of these and it seems to work really well. https://www.binding101.com/lassco-wizer-cr-60-corner-rounder-for-metal-signs-with-die
You can get them from Denco Sales and I think NGlantz carries them too. They last forever in my experience.
Good luck!

I guess it's not really that deep- I only really see slights when they're obvious, and there have been plenty of cases of that. I don't go looking for reasons to be offended, I have much better things to do with my time and energy. I am not entirely sure what "intolerance" was...
I've been in this industry for 15 years. If I had a dollar for every time a man tried to condescend me or assume I didn't know what I was talking about I wouldn't have to work any more. I have come to realize because I chose to be in this male dominated industry, I have a tendency to really push...
I used to work for Alphabroder and had to deal with these people every day- anyone with a Cricut, a stack of Gildan tees and a clothes iron thinking they were the next hot thing to hit the streets but want to price match Walmart for $1.50 shirt. Okay big baller...
Oh man I wish I had one- it was a few years back. It was so blatant it might as well had a big ol' "123RF" smack dab in the middle of it. The proof was about 6x6" at 72 dpi and they blew it up to the whole back of the shirt it was garbage all around :roflmao:
I watermark all of my stuff now because of this exact problem. There actually is a guy who SOLD DTG shirts for his event with my watermark  classy move bro
That sucks- can you have a lift rented from Quinn or the like in the meantime? Either way the wait is costing you. Just a thought. Best of luck to you.
You have to know what you are applying to- some of those low energy plastic car bodies do not take well to the regular cast stuff and you have to go with the specialty formulas. Know your surface. Also don't get wrap film that's so cheap its more of a pain in the behind to lay than your time is...
We use the HP Photorealistic Paper- we buy it from Grimco. We can use it on our HP R2000 or on the Canon Colorado (which prints beautifully). Sometimes if they want something a bit more substantial I will print to a 24 pt cardstock like Tango on the Flatbed. It just depends on what they need it...
Panaflex face with tension system or polycarbonate. Don't do panels. That will look janky. If they are super cheap 18 oz blockout banner with tension system.
