Twin brothers by different mothers?
I can say that our CWT table has been nothing but the best piece of equipment bought for production in this shop. It saved from having to hire another employee. That fact alone allowed it to pay for itself in less than 1 year.
If I was to start another sign...
Don't take this wrong. How can you know if what you charge is correct without job costing? The problem, if one exists, could be anything from material waste to labor miscalculation. We don't do cost checking for every sign anymore but I usually check end cost periodically to make sure I am not...
If doing real stucco you will need to call a professional and outsource. ACM will not work with stucco. You can however do a faux finish of paint with texture on the ACM.
RULE OF THUMB
50% of total charge for an illuminated sign usually covers all materials and assembly labor. The other half is installation (labor) costs and profit. This is a very rough estimation and is correct about 90% of the time.
No one can tell you how much to charge for a sign. You have...
We have had our CWT table for a year now. It has not had any issues. It has been the best purchase we have made for the production area and the first thing I would purchase if we started over.
Ours has a clear rubber mat over glass. I agree that brighter LEDs would be better but only when we...
I had the same issue with Flexi at times. It would take an outline and place it on top of the outlined object or letter during export. The only way to confirm this is open the exported file in flexi and the problem will appear. The original file will not show this problem. I have had to separate...
We found the rope/bungee combo was sufficient for this install. I would agree that any larger and a cable system would be required. These have been up for over 6 months and still look the same.
As to the quality of the 365 banners, I have seen a few threads on here giving their quality a thumbs...
Here are (2) 27ft x 4ft mesh banner which have been up for several months and still look the same. These were made by signs365 with rope in the hem. We used heavy bungee cords for attachment to the poles.
Only 2 possibilities I can believe might be happening. Either versaworks updated and something changed or the printer has an issue. The captops may be suspect or a color may be dropping from a head issue.I am not an expert on Roland. Someone else would be better to consult before touching the...
As a quick fix, you can open the file in versaworks and change the output of the color to 0,100,100,0. When I had this issue versaworks was changing the output cmyk mix giving me an orange color.
Since I switched to 3M profiles, this does not happen.
Our state can issue a state DOT number if the truck never leaves the state. We have a USDOT number because we travel outside the state. A USDOT number is associated with the company and it does not matter what state it resides.
We just finished this 12' x 4' cabinet. It has a printed graphic on Avery 2050 Translucent mounted 1st surface and it has a reverse image printed on clear mounted 2nd surface. We used our laminating table. The only problem with mounting the clear using dry method is when the printed side of the...
