thanks i found those, they look a bit off from the Stanely ones..... trying to source locally if i can. cant seem to find a company that works on the doors
try HarborSales.net , Depending on the qty and shipping, depends on if it will make worth it
you can get a foot shear for about $1500, worth the investment.
You can also find lite hand gauge shears that award/engravers use, may work for you.
99 percent of Solyx Films are very Rigid or brittle and easy to crease or zipper, unlike vinyl or 3m Frosted or dusted Crystal you cant get those out.....take your time and be careful of creaseing near the corners when pressing it out. I also leave a few inches from edge not pressed out, dog ear...
Water and 3 drops of baby shampoo with some Alcohol in a 32oz bottle...STAINLESS STEEL Large 5" Truimph Scraping Blades (these wont scratch glass if its good glass) if its soft go with the jumbo lidco plastic blades.
yes you will want something else, Print-lab 9.1 should let you print n cut seem-less...........it has a full RIP program...Virtual Production Manager..... so you can profile your media and colors....
Anyone got a source for a Printable White Frost or Etch type media???? I have a Eco Solvent Printer...... My other option is to outsource to a UV Flatbed. Thanks in advance
NEVER LEAVE DOWN! It will ruin your rollers with flat spots. think of a racecar locking up the brakes, there is a flat spot and ruins the handling of the car. Your Laminator is a precision tool, treat it like one!
you need a cold Roll Laminator, will make it easy to premask once you practice/master the setup
Find a used one, or go with a entry level model with a USTECH or Diage, you can find one for 3 grand or less
you will need it once you break big and get you a wide format printer
1500 is an expensive option, i would rig a pulley system of some sort from the ceiling, you may be able to find some kind of bike, ladder rack/pulley system out of the garage tech type stuff to modify to work
youll have more problems with letters lifting after rolling and unrolling it up unmasked.....use a good premask and roll graphics out and shouldn't be any problem with the premask if its applied and rolled nice.
what software are you cutting from?
I had a anagraph 101 working on Flexi 7 with Windows XP and Windows 7 with a 25pin. to a 9pin adaptor
Check your setup in your windows hardware is matching to the port you are using.
you can boot plotter and do test cuts without a pc hooked up, is that working?
