I'm glad I asked this question and I'm hearing answers that I like. I should've mentioned it but the FSC-88 us for HDU and it does say it can be used on wood. I had it around so I've sorta been testing with it. I have the Kilz also so I'm going to give that a go. Sounds like the survey says that...
Gee, did I sort of leave information out on this one? Perhaps by answering Gino's questions it'll make it easier for everyone to help.
I'm starting fresh with plywood.
The sign will be 24"W x 36"L.
The primer will be the sealer coat. I'm using FSC-88 WB (bought it to experiment but not for...
Hi All,
I'm painting a bare wood exterior sign white. I was going to use a clear over the topcoat and found that the urethane clears will yellow (even though they are exterior). I don't spray and need something from a rattle can or brush-on. So now that big box clears are out of the question...
I'm in a bit different situation than probably others with the machine. I need to get about 1 more year out of it before I decide what I'm doing for personal reasons. I took a chance and purchased a new set of print heads which I'll install as needed and a set of ink which will also be installed...
I charge for design with a fixed price upfront based in time. If I see that we are approaching the time allotment I let the customer know that there will be additional fees for design. This is all understood in my initial discussion with the customer and it's on my estimate.
This has the...
I will be seeking a non-OEM provider for my inks also. I let my inks expire and use them but I'm not sure what the effect of doing this is. It would be great to know. Anybody????
Thank you everybody. The problem has been solved. One was an international misunderstanding and then there were two human errors. I'll start with the human errors. My 3 yr old grandson was behind the printer the day before the incident. I looked but I saw nothing out of place. When looking at...
Woops! Thanks everyone. I forgot the model number. It's an L26500. The breakers seem OK and I've opened up the back to try some simple stuff like looking for anything loose or damaged but I've had no luck. There is a way to troubleshoot using LED's on what's called a Chindra board. The...
Hi All,
I'm hoping someone has suggestions. I turned my printer on this AM to see this message.
No power in heating modules
Check cables and switches.
If necessary, call support.
Has anyone seen this before and what have you done to correct it? Is it an easy fix? An expensive fix? Any...
this is a longshot but if it gets crazy for you try resetting your preferences. Be aware that resetting preferences nukes your system back to a default Flexi so Prod Mgr will have no devices and you have to recreate everything. I believe though that you can export your Prod mgr settings and then...
I have never owned a Roland and telling you what you should have done is no help to you.
You're in deep. As others have said it's time to cut your losses and then talk to a lawyer.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Get out of this and don't look back.
I could never justify the expense of the curious sms so I know what you mean. If you can't find an old copy with the license perhaps you can purchase the network license. I assume you have at least one copy?
Try saving your ai file as a native illustrator file then importing into flexi. Either it works or flexi will tell you there are versioning issues which can affect your copy and paste. BTW, importing the illustrator file is the preferred method.
