The way I understand it where I am is that it is the customers responsibility for a permit. That being said I don't touch electrical jobs without a permit and I will apply for a permit in some towns and avoid doing so and risk losing the job in others because of the issues and coats involved.
The problem is that our industry is all over the place when it comes to costs, deposits, etc. OK, my rant is over.
I have very few customers that pay via purchase order and I don't even go there the first time they work with me. It's check, cash, or credit card for all first time customers. If...
Maybe good news and maybe not. I quickly read through everyone's replies but I don't recall seeing this.
Sometimes, once you load something (I say something because you don't know what it really is, only that your computer acts different) onto your system it can't be removed regardless of the...
FWIW, I used to tape mount dimensional letters at a local hospital. I did a lot of work with this over my time there. I used to use a paint mask vinyl for my template and after about 10 years of this work I noticed that my mask wasn't sticking to surfaces that were painted and outgassed. I...
Agree with MikePro. I did it with Rapid Remove but in the spirit of full disclosure there is a chance the Rapid Remove can damage the acrylic. I have no idea how/why but I heard it is so. Mine worked out fine but it was pretty sloppy slathering the thing in Rapid Remove. I kept the doors/windows...
I'm in a different place than most. I'm in NJ which is one of the states that have had significant problems with the virus so it's been a serious shutdown by our Governor and presently no end in sight as far as opening. I was considering retirement just prior to the shutdown and now its becoming...
I use one all the time. The PMS book comes in very handy when you need to tell your manufacturers or printers what the color is that you're trying to match. Other times I've used vinyl colors when color matching because my mfg's pretty much have the vinyl swatch books also. The books are...
I've been using flexi 19 for quite a while. I have no known color issues but I do profile with an i1 so maybe that's why. You can run 12 and 19 side by side to check it out.
Hi All,
Well, figured I'd post this one to the experts because SAI support didn't have an answer.
Running flexi19 subscription and everything is up to date. I send two vinyl jobs to the production manager to be cut. In fact, I've tried this with the same exact job. I'm holding the job in the...
As most already know, HP has announced that as of 8/30/2020 sales of 792 ink, printheads, and parts for the LX26500 will no longer be available. It seems like there's replacements for the inks. Does anyone know where the printheads can be found? I"m specifically asking about non-HP printhead...
