I'm pretty sure all white reflective will have that greyish look to it. It's the nature of the beast. We use 3M Scotchlite Reflective 5100 series. We have been very happy with it. We mostly use it on vehicles.

"So black reflective looks brownish when it reflects light after dark." This statement is dependent on the brand of black reflective. Avery on left...3M on right. Only one of the reason's we use 3M reflective exclusively.
