  1. Covid Sick Time?

My niece got Bell's Palsy in her teens. It just happens. To anyone. It's been linked to simple viruses such as cold sores, the flu, chickenpox, shingles... I had a cyst in my armpit for close to a decade that never bothered me, got to be about the size of a marble towards the end. One...
  2. Covid Sick Time?

The term “vaccine” was changed recently to incorporate this illegal, unlawful medical experiment to facilitate usage of mRNA technology that is demonstrably not a vaccine, and which contains biologically toxic nano-metamaterials associated with 5G urban data gathering capability. (Emphasis...
  3. Covid Sick Time?

Yup, I definitely take my vaccine advice from a businessman. It sounds to me like an upset father looking to blame his son's autism on something, anything, and landed on vaccines. As many seem to.
  4. Glass permanently etched by decals?

This is what it sounds like to me. I've removed some lettering that I thought etched the glass as well. Alcohol & adhesive remover wouldn't touch it. I had to get a stainless scraper blade and scrape it off with soapy water. It took some work, but it did eventually come off.
  5. New HP Latex 700 and 800 series - with White ink

Is this related to you buying this machine? Or just because you use so much 3M they're giving you a rebate and you decided to put it towards this purchase?
  6. Employee Poaching

We've had a couple of the "Money talks" people roll through here over the years. They generally over-promise and under-deliver on their skills/abilities/knowledge, usually stick around for 6-12 months then bounce to another shop for an extra buck; we don't fight to keep them.
  7. blades for plotters

Second this. In 2018 I switched from Summa OEM to Cleancut and never looked back. Just as good performance and longevity at a much lower price point. Edit: This makes me sound like a shill, but I'm not. I just like the blades.
  8. Anyone here part of a 100+ employee company?

Ayy, thanks! Finally got the "Anyone who doesn't agree with me is a commie!" square on my Trumper bingo card!
  9. Anyone here part of a 100+ employee company?

You've incorrectly dated the attempted coup/insurrection multiple times now. It was January 6th 2021. Maybe put it on a sticky note so you don't forget.
  10. Anyone here part of a 100+ employee company?

Difference is that he chose to paint himself orange.
  11. Anyone here part of a 100+ employee company?

Doesn't have anything with agreeing or disagreeing with me, it has to do the complete lack of proof of a "Stolen Election". I see the information that is provided, which is the audits and recounts, and they all say the same thing: the election was valid and Biden won. I could be wrong and if...
  12. Anyone here part of a 100+ employee company?

Sweet baby Jesus. Imagine holding onto this ridiculous, disproven, comical, asinine, conspiracy theory for this long. The count, recounts, re-recounts, re-re-recounts are in: the Mango Menace lost. I know that hurts to hear, but it's true. But maybe he'll be reinstated on January 6th! Or...
  13. lamination

Depends on the job. If it's somewhere it's going to be noticeable like in the middle of the side of a van I'll scrap that section and see if I can reprint from a seam, like a door. If it's something like a wall mural that's 10 feet off the ground I'd probably just seam the laminate with a new...
  14. What causing these Reflective printed stripe peeling, only where they are hand-cut

I've never had good luck wrapping edges with 5600. I usually shave it right on the edge or sometimes trim it back 1/16th" so I don't have any issues.
  15. JPEGs turning black

Yup, it's been happening to me for a couple weeks now. CorelDRAW 2019.
  16. Knife pressure tester.

Our window tint and paint protection supplier, Llumar, just sent us this extremely useful tool for practicing cutting film properly. I think it would be a great tool for any wrap shop to have to train newer people or test new hires. You can't really see, but there's an alligator clip on the...
  17. Removing cracked window graphics and reinstalling, (vendor provided the graphics)

I'd be weary using that scraper, it says it comes with a carbon steel blade which can easily scratch or etch glass. Stainless steel is a much better option.
  18. Insane installation

    This is the way.
  19. Eyelet press won't cut through hemmed banner

Could just be cheap grommets. We once purchased some "self-piercing" grommets from a local distributor and they were noticeably thinner and cheaper than Hiker grommets. They would pierce the banner, but it would crush and ruin the grommet. We either had to punch a hole manually or use two...
