Honestly. $200 is probably only 1/3 tank of gas for a boat that size at the current fuel prices. He's complaining about something costing $200 that will last many years vs running his boat for maybe a couple hours for the same amount.
$200 is more than fair in my book.
Not everything, no. Simple logos or lettering can go straight out. If it's something like a full color change I definitely try to keep inside for the recommended 24 hours during the Utah winter.
Well I'm wondering why you posted this? It looks like you don't care. Since you don't care, close this thread and move on...It seems kind of pointless to go through a bunch of steps to post when you could just go about your day.
Just my 2 cents. for what it's worth..
Does 3M have the same delamination issue that Avery does when printing on HP Latex? Were the graphics transfer taped and maybe pulled the lam off with it?
That's the second time you got the date wrong. It was January 6th 2021 and it was an attempted coup. There's actual evidence for this as opposed to your "11/4/20 US coup".
I found this wrap care mirror tag on Avery's website, but I don't see anywhere to order them. I'm assuming this is just a template you can use to get them printed elsewhere. Anyone have a recommendation for someone to print these?
Thanks.
I believe he's talking about the 300 (and I believe 500) series having issues with the laminate sticking to the printed areas; the darker the print the easier it just peels off.
Customer supplied pixilation, BTW.
Since he/she says their name is Michael Mandy then signs the email as just Mandy, I'm going to vote for scam. That and all the grammar and punctuation errors.
I would highly recommend getting something like this. Even with a wiper arm puller they can be a bit hard to take off if they're super rusted.
Edit: Just remember what position it sits when you remove it, if you put it on the wrong side it can mess a lot of stuff up when it's turned on.
I looked for one a few years ago and couldn't find anything vector. I ended up purchasing a layered .tif from The Bad Wrap. Excellent template, but the only program I have or know of that can use layered .tifs is Photoshop which I'm not super proficient with.
We've had this issue several times over the years when cutting thicker material (including Substance). One thing you can do to help is to tape a corex extension to the bottom of the plotter. It helps it not bow as much when running through the machine, it lays flatter.
We've always had issues with 1360z/1105 and Latex. The darker the print, the easier the lam peels right off. Pics are of an RV we did several years ago (customer insisted we use their low quality photos, don't DPI shame me).
