I have a manual that shows it but I'm not allowed to give it out. They generally go overboard and want you to even change the pumps every year which in my experience usually last many years. I would say the most important things are going to be the cap tops every 1 to 2 years, wiper once every 6...
We have switched our 1204 customers over the Bordeaux brand. It's very close to the same formula as the original Eco Ultra inks.

At the end of the day the damper in that machine is a basic dual channel damper but they put 4 of them into a big unnecessary assembly and sell it for more money. I'm willing to bet you could take it all apart and just change the dampers but I have never had a chance to try to know 100%.
Also...
That cap adjustment will always move up afterwards. It's basically asking you to tell it when the cap top touched the head and then it moves up enough for it to seal.
I've been in the printer parts selling business for over 13 years and have picked up some signs that a site is a scam.
1. They are located in Indonesia. I don't want to generalize but I've never heard of anyone actually getting their parts when they use an Indonesian site.
2. They are located...
Ink nozzles dropping out during printing is almost always a bad damper or other ink flow issue. I'd start with the dampers especially if they are over 1 to 2 years old.
If it does end up doing it on the nozzle check, it's a sign that the cyan head is going bad and/or it has a damaged or dirty cable connected to it. These heads fire different sized dots and the circuitry can fail for only one size. The nozzle check and registration marks use the large dot for...
Oh believe me, I'm the crazy uncle who won't use rewards cards because I don't need 7/11 tracking me. The current way ads are done is pretty invasive for sure.
I get why people don't like ads especially when they are plastered all over the place in an unappealing way but at the end of the day, if a site can't pay the bills with ads because people turn them off, they will just start making you pay to use their site. Most of the major and local...
We started selling vinyl by the foot and yard for crafters a few years back and I can say there are definitely a good amount of dude crafters out there.
We've done contracts for the Air Force for printers before and they might ask for a Roland but we spec a Mimaki that has similar features and they never bat an eye.
Believe it or not, greasing the rail is not considered a regular maintenance item. It's not mentioned in any manual including the install, maintenance, and service manuals. It's something that should only be done if absolutely needed. My contact at Mimaki told me once that in the rare case that...
If nozzles are dropping out overnight it usually means the cap tops are failing. If the cap tops are more than a year old I would replace them. If the dampers are more the 1 to 2 years old I would replace them as well.
I agree with above. The stair step pattern usually indicates a bad encoder. I would lean more towards bad trailing or head cables as well though. The digital looking pattern you are getting usually indicates more of an electrical issue The encoder data is sent back to the main board via the...
