You need to use the offset setting that is listed on the blade packaging. Roland has 60 degree blades that have an offset as low as 0.1mm and as high as 1mm.

In my experience these heads don't clog within days. They are almost always recoverable after sitting for even weeks. Are you sure the cap top isn't just clogged? Especially if it's an after market one, they can clog very fast. A head that sits without cleaning for 4 days should be recoverable.

There should be an IPv4 address under the ethernet adaptor heading. Since there isn't, it means there isn't a connection being made between the printer and computer. So it has to be something keeping it from connecting like a bad cable or hardware.

That could be a sign that the cable, the ethernet port on the computer, or the ethernet port on the printer might not be working properly. Do you see any lights, blinking or solid, on either of the ethernet ports?

I usually see this when the heat is too low, the profile is laying down too much ink, and/or when the ink is old. If you did a bunch of cleanings and it got better, my guess is the ink needs to be agitated a bit. Rock the cartridge back and forth a few times.

A Mutoh ValueJet 628 is basically an Epson desktop vinyl printer but it's expensive for just a sample unit. They do make water based ink receptive vinyl so you could get a regular Epson desktop and use that. It's usually a lot more expensive though.

Looks like drop out to me. Usually that's going to be a bad damper or bad connection between the damper and ink line. Check the ink lines for air bubbles as they are a sign there is a bad connection. Sometimes you won't see air bubbles but there's still a bad connection though.

Mimaki usually develops the printer in Japan and once they figure out all the kinks, they move production to China. You can have two identical Mimaki printers in your shop and one could be from China and the other from Japan.

My guess is they just printed whatever file was given to them and whatever color came out became the, "right" color to the bank and the bank's designer. Then they just expected that everyone would simply print that pantone the same.
