  1. XP Printer folder???????

Depends on the printer/rip software. Versaworks ships with a windows driver that allows what you're asking for. It baiscally sends a .PS file to the rip, then you just send the file to the printer.
  2. Trimming Questions

    Try this:
  3. Trimming Questions

Certain operations work on only two objects. Weld can work on any number of objects. What's happening is that the trim is performing the function on two objects and ignoring the rest. The three white stars on the right side where probably created as one single object and that allowed you...
  4. Trimming Questions

Shaping remains a "memory" of the objects used, that's why they show up in wireframe view, but not enhanced view. That's so you can go back to the original objects. As to why some trim and some don't, it's probably a matter of having the objects in the right order. You need to weld...
  5. Help with a weird problem.

Your rendering intent for raster data is set to absolute colorimetric instead of relative colorimetric/perceptual.
  6. Snap and Distribute

The snaps are options, not commands. They affect objects as you move/create them. Honestly, hit the help file, they are step by step with explanations.
  7. Snap and Distribute

If you run through the Help file in order they explain each function nicely with examples. I use snap commands routinely for aligning objects. "Snap to" "point" for example will "click" your cursor into place of a node in an object. "Snap to" "guide" will do the same except it will "click"...
  8. Epson 3000 Inks

We're currently using jet blaster inks on our epson 3000, but the last batch has been garbage, way clipped colors. Anyways. What's every using on their 3000s?
  9. Versaworks color density level

You mess with the density levels are you're creating the profiles. What material/profile combo are you using?
  10. Versaworks color density level

Where did you get your profiles from? changing the density levels will fudge up your colors.
  11. Adding a contour cut outline to a photo

Creating the outline should take you no more than 5 minutes.
  12. Free stuff from Roland...

I got the sample. It's not a sample "roll" as stated in the original post (and nowhere on the site does it say "roll"). It's the standard roland brochure, with a printed piece of the material (by an XC540). Material looks nice though.
  13. Another Problem With My XC-540

Oh, well then, ignore me. =D
  14. Another Problem With My XC-540

There's a prefeed option on the 545ex. I think that feeds 10-15 inches so you can tie it up to the take up roll (I think that's what it's for, never used the option myself.)
  15. Extreme Makeover - The Entries

While the leading entry sure is pretty, it would look more in place for a bar.
  16. Text to Shape CS2...

Make a path(any type, path alone or shape layer). Then select the text tool. Hover over the path and it'll change to the path type tool.
  17. This may be one of the "Noobiest" questions ever asked ;-)

LXI is rebranded Flexi-Sign. You won't have a problem with that software.
  18. Versacamm sp-540v ink level monitor

Versaworks shows a "resume" and "stop" window when we have to change cartridges.
  19. XC-540 Banding banding banding

If the nozzles are good, next thing would be to check the media feed adjustment.
  20. Free stuff from Roland...

    Nice. =)
