when everyone here talks about cutting magnet on their machine, is this purely a plotting machine youre referencing r can this be cut on a print any cut machine. I have a mimaki cjv30 for instance, could i cut these on this? i have read the magnet can interfere with the electronics.

could you send more pictures please on how you fixed the knife to the unit?

so if a cartridge was to run dry and the machine kept on trying to print, would it draw air into the line?

Im using a Mimaki cjv30 and im looking to print directly on some magnetic material for some fridge magnets. This seems to be quote a common material that's used in the print world but ive purchased some material from eBay and they have emailed after the sale stating they are not held responsible...

just wondered if anyone had ever risked it and if so how did it hold up?

will i still need to do an alignment if im only changing the manifold?

is there any info you can give on changing the manifold?

Are there any other signs to look out for with a cracked manifold?

Thanks for the reply. I have trimmed the line, flushed the pump manually and still no joy. So everything does seem to be pointing towards the manifold, luckily i do have a spare one, have you ever changed one before or no of any guidelines on how to swap one over?

Replaced the cap top which changed nothing, then i thought id change the screw + O ring that screws onto the clip above the damper and it started working perfectly again, got through 5 test prints and manged to get some prints out again but then the yellow slowly slipped away after more test...

I may have to pick up an older roland as soon as i can. this mimaki went down 6 months ago too which cost me a fair bit. I've only been going a few year so it always feels like im barely getting my footing before another kick in the nuts comes along. But hay ho, must crack on!

i Hope it is just the cap, fingers crossed. sometimes i wish got a roland. ive read they're absolute work horses.
