Does anyone knows where can I obtain a main board for my 1280 ? I just hate to trash this thing.

Just bought a few refillable ink cartridges and they came without chips....does this matters much? I was told that the printer knows where all the colors are and the chips are there only to tell you when you running low or it's when it is empty. Is this right?

Just replaced the ink pump, dampers, capping station in my Roland Fj-52 and noticed there was a lot of ink in the pump jar. is this normal during replacement of these parts? This is my first time for replacing these ink parts! I need some advice !

I am planning to move to use bulk ink in my Roland printer. There are some cartridges with and without chips, I don't know how to reset the chip....so wouldn't be better to use the cartridge without chips?
