I know VW will work with Win 7. I just did the update and it works fine. you'll have to go back to Rolands web to download the new profiles. You'll lose your most resent profiles :thumb:
just got a great deal on a new laptop 8gig, 500 hd with win 7. Installed VW, and all my other programs and it all works. This thing is quick, I say if you have the chance to upgrade "JUST DO IT"
open your EPS file in ill make sure you have nothing selcted, right click and click on outline. this will show if you have any stray cutline hidden in the file.
you can use a sheet of sentra under your print, lam and feed about 4 to 6" of the sentra with-out the print. When you start keep the roll of lam taught, hit the peddel and let it roll. Make sure the your lam roll is taught, you can use your hand to help keep pressure on it. The paper backing...
Started 20 yrs ago as a warehouse manager, volunteer to run the new Gerber program with plotter. first job was to plot the lee jeans logo 48"x48', I think it took me 1 1/2 days to figure it out. After a few years of that I move around a bit as warehouse manager, after a few jobs of doing that...
I got that itchy hand feeling for a CNC router set up. Question on the software. How hard is to to operate and learn the software. I know Adobe, Corel and others will this help me on how to set up the cutting program for the CNC? I'm still looking around.

I weed the big stuff first and do a cut box around the small letters to leave the material before application, tape and apply to surface and then weed the small lettering after the application. Extra step but it works. Weed letters from right to left and numbers left to right. Hope this helps
It's a pavillion dv9000, I'v read that it you can install up to 4g of ram. With it not seeing the 2 sticks of 4g I have switch out 1 stick back to a 1g and it still only reads 2.75 g of ram. I'm I missing something?
Just put in 4gig in to laptop, it only see 2.75 of it, what's up? Why will it not read at least 3.5gig? laptop is 64bit X2, winXP. Any advise on how to make it see more ram?
