Being in the biz for 30yrs you'd think I would of done more sandblasted HDU but most customers always wanted wood. I believe I have only done 2 and that was probably 10years ago.
My question is can I pre finish before blasting and then finish the blasted background or is there a possibility...
Was just reading the tshirt forum and they say if you press a second time with parchment paper it dulls the shine down to matte finish
I have a sample already pressed by stalls and it's awesome. Looks like silkscreen and stretches extremely well!
Thanks guys...I'll give it a try......combine sounds familiar....been a long time since I've used an edge.....truly appreciate your time in responding....hopefully I'm on my way!!!
I am using flex to output to the gerber edge. I want to print one color onto white vinyl. I have given all the insides of letters a clear fill. They continue to be a solid fill same color as letter. How do I change this?
Thank you in advance!
Actually I have a circuit at home and there is a program where you no longer need the cartridges and can do layouts and all.....don't have the above product though.
Ill give it a go tomorrow although it seems like my color mode is always grayed out unless I bring up a jpg. Just a busy weekend so I'll be at it again!
Again, I'm using flexi 7.6 version
Thanks Bobby.....I have the gerber and zeronine tables open. I am now getting the colors but have to disselect each cmyk colors....am able to print so until I figure out why cmyk keeps showing up I'll keep printing this way.
Yes I do have it checked and when I go to output driver in production manager to see The colors of the design it wants to print it shows all the cmyk colors...none of the spot colors.
Just to try something different I actually selected copy using a vinyl color table, went to output driver and...
Overwhelmed..first data problems, now printing problems.
Question and I'm sure it's elementary. No matter what I do it seems like all I can print in is cmyk. Most of the foils I have are zeronine and am using the spot series swatch. Same goes for the gerber foils.
When I go to print it says...
Recently I posted about loud vibration with my edge classic. I am happy to say that changing the checksum to on has cured that!
Then onto the next problem...Data Error! For days :banghead:I could not get past those dreaded words. Finally today I decided to go against everything I have been...
Just purchased a gerber edge classic and am trying to output to it from the above version of flex. When I send the job all I keep getting is DATA ERROR.
I set up the edge as detailed in set up instructions. Am running in widows 98.
Anyone have any idea what I need to do. Gerber edge test...
Fred...was pressing the unseen keys and it ran a print test perfectly so it seems to me I have a setting wrong somewhere. Like I said I am using flexipro 7.6vs2 and it's running in windows 98... I know, old but I've got some old workhorse graphtec plotters that keep on going so why mess a good...
Thanks so much Fred. I really appreciate your imput. It appears to be an edge classic. I tried to rock the print head but it is tighter than tight. Still cannot see anything attached anywhere! I'm going to call the guy first thing in morning to see if he installed anything anywhere. Diagrams...
Just now hooked up my used edge and right off the bat...problems. Kept getting data error so turned my checksum to on position and that resolved that (using flexisign 7.6
Now it sends data and when foils starts I get this loud vibration sound as if something is too tight..horrible sound. Looked...
Is there a big difference between flexisign 7 or 7.6 vs2 and Flexi 8?
Seen where I can purchase training DVD for lots less.
Has anyone used these and were they helpful?
