I have the Rollman and can only speak well of it so far. Easy to use, sturdy (German) built and overall good quality for money. I'd definately go with that brand again if needed another laminator. I have the 140W model.
I wouldn't really try to mix in the waste ink though... the solvents could have evaporated while in the waste bottle, the color shift would be likely and you could end up with more problem than having the printer docked as stated above until you get a new cart. That will not be any problem... In...
Have had two rolls of defective lam from Avery lately when running trough a larger lot, it was just a small portion of blotches but the supplier replaced the rolls without any discussion. The last time I also got some reimbursements etc. so I think it was handled correctly.
One of the rolls...
No, I think it just alerts you if you're running long unattended prints for example overnight that you could run out of ink. You can disable the alert if you want...
If you have that many out with the same issue I'd contact some company that cleans printheads and ask for a good price on all the clogged heads. If it's gunked up ink there's perhaps a good chance you could get them cleaned for a fraction of the cost it takes to replace them? Just a thought there...
The capacitor marked 181 I think looks suspect, it looks like it's leaked something brown, in the upper right corner. But it could be just the picture also...
Good decision on the Roland, you won't be disappointed!
In my opinion it could be hard to upsell the metallic printed products for the price they would need to be (more expensive inks, lamination needed on ALL products, much longer printing time). The customer simply either expects to get the...

I ordered ink carts once that I needed the following day. I pointed that out to the seller. He said, "well, it could be a small upcharge on the freight". yea, whatever. The freight was 550 bucks (instead of the normal 15) when...
I think you're right about the Roland owners loving the Rolands and the HP owners loving the HP, but regarding the silver/white ink you should check the price on the silver ink carts... you don't want to flush that expensive soup in the waste bottle every day... Other than that I'd go with the...
I had a question for a floor graphics once and the customer wanted it to last maybe 3-4 years. I told them no problem, we'll quote a system with a replacement every 6-12 months depending on need (since this was a heavy foot traffic area). They said no, we got a better quote from another company...
You're absolutely right about that the tape should perform when needed, I used to use a cheap unknown brand of masking tape that one roll didn't stick at all, the other did stick but was a pain to remove, the third roll you'd get only small chips from it etc. I gave up and now I use Würth...
