Now that I think of it the last few rolls of 4075-RLA were giving us some issues when applying to the vehicles. Didnt want to come off like normal. I figured it was the humidity since its been super high lately.
Will do, just wondered if people took a week day off which day and why. I try not to answer or do any replying back after 5 till the next morning otherwise people assume you will do it all the time. Need family time too.
Right away it will just be the wife and I. I am assuming we will have the door locked before 9 and after 5. The whole reason we are going to a shop is so we can have her sit in the office and I can try and work more and get bugged less from customers.
So I have been trying to figure out hours for the week when we get into our new shop. Right now we are typically 9-5 Monday through Friday. Weekends off. I have seen some people closed monday and work tuesday through friday. What are peoples thoughts on this? Mondays seem really busy for us...
Start painting on monday. Bought latex fastprime2 as its easier to clean up on the persons gun i will be using. Also bought conco 300 latex high hide white i believe semi gloss paint. Plan is to make it look something like this. Not as dark on the bottom grey though.
What are you trying to use it for. We do a lot of print cut things with the wall frog and it cut really nice. I had problems with the phototex doing that and it will start to come off the backing when going through the printer and i would get head strikes.
I know it would probably be a waste. But is it an option to prime. Then spray texture drywall mud, and then paint over that? Didnt know if that would get rid of some of the texture on the panels. Mostly i am doing it for more light as the ceilings are so tall, and want to make it look...
Also its a one year lease so i dont want to drop too much money. I am sure i will be there for 3 years though. I want everything to look really clean and professional.
So oil primer white. Spray then back roll. Think i will have to do two layers of that since it will soak in so much. Then one or two coats of top coat? I dont have to do the ceiling as it will be white pole metal sheets. 16 foot walls 50x24 and 30x24 are the sizes of areas.
