I had a vp its a work horse.. As long as the print heads are in good condition it will print really good. Some colors are a little grainy. You can print the roland color chart and see. I cleaned it once a month and it would sit a week idle sometimes.
What I have got from the research and prints i have seen is printer is nice. Works perfect for wraps and things not up close 24 inches or less. Prints fast. Does have a little more waste of vinyl since you have to have some into the curing tunnel otherwise you will get a head strike. Prints...
What is the humidity at in your shop? I have had static issues that cause that. But also a black head can cause overspray as well. Not sure on the cyan. Almost looks as if your calibration is a little off as well.
versaworks 6 will do same thing unless you change the same thing in quality tab. I did notice some glitches in 6 with all of my cuts not showing up and cutting correctly.
I have seen both printers in action. Tomorrow morning I will be taking some files and printing on the 365. I have had solvent before. Just thought it would be nice to have latex and be able to lam right away. Some of our customers like us to hit certain colors and the Epson would be choice for that.
That’s what I don’t wanna do is wait. I wanted to be able to print. And head right to laminator. Then cut and apply to customers car they drop off that morning.
