What profile are you using. I tried Mcvp that was terrible. Then the satin canvas is ok. But I feel like it should look nice. Better color more crisp. My vp printed them a lot better.
Doing some research on latex. Leaning towards the Epson 80600 or latex365. Read there is a lot of waste when doing smaller runs on the latex. Can anyone confirm? Think I will like having separate cutter then the all in one.
Trying to print a last minute valentines canvas and cant find a good profile on the vg540. Anyone recommend anything. Printing on seals monet canvas. Tried the uni direction on the solvent satin canvas and it doesnt look that great.
So your saying epson 80600 with summa and shariz rip? Can you cut with this rip? I will have to look into the rip. Had other people tell me to check out summa as well, and the barcode feature is nice supposedly.
Ok right now I have it narrowed down to these three. I dont want latex.
1 Epson s80600 with graphtec fc8600
2 Mimaki - CJV300 - not sure i want a print and cut all in one anymore
3 Valujet 1624x with graphtec fc8600 unless the valucut's are any good? - Not sure if i would get one with more...
Anyone else recommend any other printer setup? Hopefully finalizing with Roland on my return and going to order something in the next week. Looking at an Epson s80600 on Wednesday at a print shop.
When vp was unplugged and put in box it printed test prints perfect, but i am too skeptical as to if they are all dried up now. I do have an invoice from grimco for an epson 80600 and a graphtec fc8600. Just waiting for Roland to get to agree to what i want. Grimco is 2-3 weeks out for...
So its a trade in. When boxing up the vp, the dealer took the frame and everything but the top in his vehicle. Then they were going to ship machine back to dealer when my vg was working properly. Well it has been sitting in a box in my shop since vg was installed.
