just tried to send a file i had printed yesterday to the printer and when i drag the file up to the print box it stays there for about 10 seconds and then disappears. the percent stays on 0. it does this with all my files now! and of course i have a client coming over to pickup aload of her...

same here, same situation to. will more than likely look into a sewing machine for banners/pole pockets in the very near future.

if its in a lease agreement the landlord pretty much says whats alowed as far as we know. (we deal with this from time to time) not sure if its 100 percent legal or not though

question for bob.. if i can't get clear shield, which i can't for the life of me for tomorrow/friday morning, is there any other type of liquid lam i can use?

i tried, and i explained etc.....he wants it and said he would pay for it. now i have to source some liquid lam to get it done and back to him for friday. pity lowes doesn't carry it! we have one 5 mins down the road! oh well.

yeah, we asked about that but it was $58 to over night it which was more than the product was worth! we've tried all 5 vendors in our area and nobody has it on the shelf apart from advantage which is where we got the overnight quote from.

he says he will pay the extra. but now my local supplier is out of liquid lam(clear shot) and nobody else around here carries it. we ran out at the weekend and i was just going to buy more this week, but the client needs the banner for friday and the ups want be by here untill 6.30pm friday!

we have a customer who insist's we laminate a banner we just did for them as the banner they are replacing was laminated apparently. i did explain it did not need laminating but........ anyways, should i spray lam or use the clear shield liquid lam? if i was to liquid lam it, once rolled and...

lol......yes read the thread! lol.. we up untill then did all our sc decals on our gerber which is ideal. just becare if doing it on an inkjet.

i would do the job myself.....the roland can throw those out easy. we do jobs like that often. put the printer to work buddy, its all good fun!

so i guess in the future just do it reversed and flood coat it with white then if it needs to be color matched on our roland yeah?

yeah we've done stuff before on our edge, just we had to color match a perticular purple so we did it on our roland this time. just concerned, as i don't want ink being left behind on windows!
