Mimaki JV3 160s, Flexi Sign Pro 8.1 my contour cut is off by .125 on everything, I make sure its all loaded strait, but i still cant seem to get it to cut right on the money on things...

I have been doing race car wraps since 2010, I have had a mutoh, and a mimaki, summa and graphtech plotters, and I I have this problem as well. With stripes its not bad, but when its test, or a cut 1/2 outline around text, thats where it gets difficult!

I Get it, I want nothing more than to replace the head! Things are snug financially right now, I just went out on my own full time, I've spent a fair amount doing so. I also just dropped 8 grand on braces for my step son! I'm looking for a temporary crutch until things get a bit smoother.

So I bought a used JV3-160S right about a year ago. The black printhead has never been 100 percent since I have had it, has a bunched of clogged nozzles and at the end of it and the top is not quite right. I have mainly been doing race car wraps, so to get around the black that turns out...

I called Grimco and they are actually sending me a new ink cart at no charge!

LOL thank you Vander! I do believe i will be calling you in the near future for a printhead. The black is missing nozzles at the the end of it and some are deflected, making the black pretty nasty looking for stripes on race cars and numbers...

I was moving my new desk and my big butt bumped my jv3 160s and it beeped, I looked at the display and it says near end K. Its a brand new cartridge, I pulled it out and put it back in, turned printer off and back on, I still get the near end K error. What have I done? LOL
