As a racer myself, and someone that does a lot of race cars, I always do dry apply. Rivets are a pain, most guys are using bolts now a days, some still use rivets, and bless the guys that use bolts!

So this usually just happens on just one letter, or part of a stripe or what ever, I bought this machine used in 2005, she is a WORKHORSE! Anyone know what might be the problem?

its been sitting 3 or 4 years, I have one new head for it, it needs a fuse changed on the mother board, its just sitting in my way, are these machines worth anything?

I go to production manager to add a new setup, choose my Mimaki JV3-160s and when it comes to the port screen the firewire is not listed like it is on my old windows xp computer that I use. It is a brand new firewire card, and I double checked the drivers, Not sure what else to try... Thanks...

It was something inside the flexi file. I created a new file and it printed fine with out that yellow warning sign on color mixer, not real sure still what exactly happened...

just noticed this warning on my color mixer, I think this is related to the problem, because its not there on my other pc...

Another note, when I do a test draw the colors look right on that, when I print a 1inch block of cyan its more of a teal color...

I sound like an idiot, but I have never had to do that, is that in production manager or where do i do that? Thanks!

I did switch from arlon 4500 to a roll of IJ35c, but that said I have never had the issue before...

Oh and I did not change anything other than black ink at first then i thought maybe it was an issue with my cyan that was at 1 but not beeping, so I put in a new cyan, and my test draws look right, other than my black head which has been messed up since I purchased this particular machine.

I just changed color profiles too just to see from an arlon one I was using to a 3m version, this has me really stumped. and it seems that only the blue colors that are giving me issues.

So I started printing some race car graphics Tuesday, I did installs yesterday, returned to my shop this afternoon to finish printing some sponsors, put in some new ink, and now my colors are WAY OFF. I double checked my profile, and every thing is the same! I am printing on a Mimaki JV3-160S...

Sorry I thought i put it in the post but didn't! It is a Jv3 160s, the ink carts are empty and the over flow was full, I cam to the shop to find it overflowed and ink all over the place!

I am having issues with it using way to much ink, I'm not sure if its the cycle setting on the printer that keeps the heads from drying out, or if I am using the wrong .icc profile that I downloaded from Arlon's site or what the heck is up. But I did one back window film for my personal vehicle...
