You can also pause by pressing the start button next to the vacuum gauge from memory. Haven't done it in years but think I bumped it once and that's what it did.
Excellent review.
Hah, I was just thinking yesterday about the fast button, and how it should have been fast by default and slow as the option.
Our FC8600 is only 2.5 years old, so it'll be a very long time until we update it but good to hear about the improvements.
I've left my Oce on and unused for ~4 weeks in the past during holiday periods.
Just made for a longer cleaning time upon return (1.5 hours instead of 15 minutes), but CMKY always recovers nozzles after 1-2 purges maximum. It's the white that takes all the time to get going again due to the huge...
It's a bit like Y2K. You want something like this to go away with just whimper than cripple the entire planet due to so much work being put in to prevent disaster.
I'm all for a bit of preventative maintenance if less people end up in morgues.
We have a QuickSet that is used when we need to contour cut.
You need to ensure that you have your cutter selected as well as the spot colour names/cutting path prefixes specified as the example below:
Not sure about the dust, although I'm sure it would have some sort of effect since static will attract small scraps of paper etc.

Orafol 215DU is specifically made for UV prints with a thicker layer of adhesive to sink into the texture of the prints and is supposed to minimise this issue.
We haven't had the need to try it yet, but saw it a few years back at a trade expo.
Installed it last week on a Windows 10 Home 1909 install and got it working pretty quickly.
Just needed to add the latest rdpwrap.ini file and everything has been working great since.
Hmm, clean enough for accurate prints.
We used to have this issue a lot with our VS-540, even after multiple profile calibrations.
Can you try doing a test print using Density Control Only and see how that looks?
Sounds like a sensor fault. I somehow think that the inks would carbonize or ignite at those temperatures.
Not had an issue like this before, but yes, we've occasionally had new problems occur right after a tech visit, but we've always managed to get them sorted quickly.
