Yeah, just found some videos of the innards of the Digitrim. It's not too different to our Neolt trimmer apart from the cut line detection and alignment bits. Hard to see how they can justify another $25k on top for just that feature. And our Neolt will do 2500mm wide cuts.

All I've done this week is print and stretch 40" x 60" canvases on our S80600.
I cannot fault the printer for being used for this sort of printing. B&W is perfect (when profiled correctly), gamut is nearing aqueous levels and resolution is excellent.

Try changing your output to just CMY.
I don't know why, but our Canon PRO6000 is set to that and it prints perfectly using the additional colour channels (eg. R and B).
Worth a try I guess, but you'll probably need to re-profile after the change.
Can you not ask your supplier to cut an inch off the edge of the roll?
All of ours include it as a free service, but we're lucky enough to only get skew on rare occasions so have only used it on two rolls in ~8 years.
If you use optically clear, you can cover the whole thing and it still looks the same. We've done it for a couple of jobs in the past. Also reduces scratches as chrome vinyl marks so easily.
